I used the “Clarity” filter, and maybe “Vibrant” (saturation boosted). The way all the nooks and crannies on the skull came out is scary — I wouldn’t want to use the Clarity filter on my face. But the high contrast and the sensation of flatness, compared to the original image, remind me of a classic still life in oils. I rather like the effect, for this subject matter.
